I need to stop looking at this sub when im hungry

Looks you might have uneven heat considering how the grill marks and cross hatches went, but the next picture showed an even cook with very little grey bands.

    I think you did good.

Clear your browsing history and leave me alone

I’ve been on this sub for a couple months now, and have yet to see *anything* that doesn’t look delicious.

    No exception here.

  5. I’d want it cooked more but for the medium rare people they probably love it

Only thing I would prefer different is more of a crust on the steaks. To be clear, I’d still smash these.

Looks great. I prefer about 3x the amount of salt though.

I find a thermometer helps improve consistency from steak to steak.

  9. Did the cooked pieces go back in the raw piece pan lol

I would definitely sear in a pan with methods like using an oven and sous vide

That looks really good, temperature is perfect for me, and a thin grey band. My only recommendation is get your grill hotter, or maybe let it come up to temperature for longer. Just a bit more searing on the outside and these babies would be perfect!

I have to stop looking at this sub from work!

    Pass.

I would pass on the lack of crust alone. The inside looks nicely cooked, but no… I wouldn’t choose to cook my steaks this way.

    Sorry… you asked for honesty.

Need to work on your sear, but otherwise perfect

Click bait title. You know this is perfection

Why did you cross hatch one and not the other ?
