Is this a mold or something. Because opened not so long ago. And it is quite acidic. How possible?

    Doesn’t seem to be mold, just residue from the sauce. Bottle was probably stored tipped.

    Very common thing to happen to this sauce, if it sits still for a long time. I just bought one with a ring yesterday. Always tastes just fine.

  7. Turn the bottle upside down and look at the bottom. You’ll probably see a bunch of it.

    Are you keeping it in the frig? Or on a shelf? If it is “quite acidic” I’d probably avoid it.

    That’s just some scum (dried sauce).

    There’s a reason it usually comes in dark bottles.
