I have a Nexgrill that has lasted longer than I thought it ever would, so this may be a hard sell to get the wife on board, especially since I just got a used Performer last week, and she likes the red color of the Nexgrill.

Looks like a steal to me but I'm new to the Weber world. I'm curious about the size of the cooking surface, hard to tell from the pic. The seller is 35 miles away so I haven't seen it in person.

Genesis E-330. It has the sear station and the enameled doors and hood with cast iron grates.

And yeah, that’s a darn good gas grill- I have a NG version of it. Worst case, it might be able to use a new set of grates, but those are readily available, as are all the other parts for it. Get a little smoker box and some wood chips and you’ll be cooking some great food in no time.

  2. Yes, plus the grates should be in good shape because they are currently upside down. Flat side goes up.

If you spend some time looking you’ll prob be able to find one for more like $125/$150. But if you’re in need of a grill and don’t want to monitor FB marketplace non-stop for a few weeks, then yes, this is a good deal. Great grill. Will last you decades.

Man, I’d buy that in a heartbeat. I’ve owned one for 15 years. All I had to do is replace the burners and starters. The rig itself is bullet proof. I don’t even cover mine. It’s just works.

    Sounds like a steal!

Be sure to check the innards yourself. The replacement parts are easy to get and install, but they’re expensive. So this could be a great deal, could be a just-OK deal.

My OEM gas jets lasted about 8 years with at least weekly use and high neglect. Third-party parts cost me half and lasted 2.5 years.

Honestly, that looks like a great deal. The genesis is a super great grill.

Mine rusted out and I trashed it. Made many warranty claims on it. Weber sent parts without issue but refused to sell me the bottom panels that rusted out at a reasonable price. Garbage in my experience.

I’ve had this grill for probably around 12 years. Still looks and works great.

Yes, worth the money. Nothing needs to be done to it as the owner has been using the grates upside down, so just flip them. Spring for some stainless ones if you want; those last for years with basic cleaning.

It’s a good deal. I bought one used for $175 without the side burner. These are great grills.

I have this exact grill. It’s fantastic if I had to get another one, I would get the same exact one. This one looks like it’s in really good shape. You could offer less. They’ll probably bargain a bit. If not, I would probably still get it.

This thing looks pretty pristine given the age. A lot of the stuff you find used online, the cabinet bottom is rusted out. The 3 burner Genesis is probably the most versatile workhorse gas grill they make, would put it up there close to the charcoal kettle for utility. You also have the sear burner and side burner to boot. Firebox is cast aluminum so will last forever, finish is porcelain coating, and not paint so is also extremely durable. Official and aftermarket parts are readily available. It’s one of those grills you can keep for 20+ years if you maintain it.

I would inspect and test all of the burners. Also for the electric start on the left, the button unthreads and there’s an AA battery underneath, in case that doesn’t work when you test it. If you need to replace any of the burners or flavorizer bars or igniters, the value of the unit starts to diminish. All of those are easily replaceable parts, but add to the cost.

Model number is likely E-330 (2011). This page is useful:

You can clean up the stainless steel with Bar Keeper’s friend or Brasso.

I got this grill cover and I am happy with it. Previous cover was made by Classic Accessories which is also good and heavy duty.

If you want a visual to give you some idea of capacity, I have the same grill (but with stainless steel grates). This is me toasting some buns after grilling some burgers.

I would say yes. This model is heavier duty to the current lineups. My 2012ish one is still going remarkably strong. Id take this over a new one at 4x the cost.

  14. First-Supermarket-28

I paid that for the same grill but worse shape than this.
    Webers are hard to kill.

  15. Fancy-Ad3183

I have the same exact grill I would offer about 150 that bottom area is starting to rust out. You’ll only get three or four years out of it.

  16. Wrong-Buddy-3024

Yes! Looks like a Genesis with a sear station. Looks very clean and worth the price.

  17. Get it before it’s gone. Offer 200 but 220 is fine.

Bonus – the side burner makes a splendid charcoal chimney starter.

  18. Fit-Marzipan-1310

It’s well worth the money. And yes the grates are upside down. So go get a steam grill cleaner and heat it up to 400 degrees and clean it up and enjoy it for years to come.
