Do to budget constraints I’m looking at used grills. On marketplace near me there is a refurbished grill for sale but I have no idea what a fair price is? What do you think? It’s in excellent condition.

It depends on the fine details in the refurb job. If it’s a top-notch restoration, then yea, this grill rocks! But $250 isn’t exactly a steal.

You should be able to get a newer unit with front controls for less.

Similar model was my first Weber, had it for over 15 years, so these are great I shouldn’t would keep looking for coming 2011 forward.

  3. As long as everything inside is new, it’s not a bad price, but I would try to get them to $200 or less.

  4. This is a 2000 or 2001 Silver Genesis. I think it looks pretty nice from the one photo. The worth is more your call, but this thing really is 24-25 years old.

Seems high, but these really are tanks. I still use a 2005 Genesis Silver at our cabin that sits outside year round, although covered. Replaced flavorizers twice and regulator once in that time, I do clean it out regularly.

IDK, I’ve got 3 of these this year for free on the cub so $250 seems steep.

I have the 2002 model and it still runs like a champ. If it’s a quality refurb I’d go for it.
