I contemplated getting this but I was concerned with it being too dry. I like the way you did it and might have to try it. What herbs did you use?

Could you walk me through your recipe/process for this. It looks amazing, and I’ve been wanting to make some lamb lately

I have made a life of not loving lamb, thanks

I think all the gods don’t want us to eat baby animals 😁

I make meatballs with 70% lamb, 30%ground beef with a bit of bacon or sausage if I have any. Everyone loves my lamb meatballs

  8. I smoked lamb for Easter. My dad and oldest brother don’t like lamb in the slightest, but both raved about amazing the I made was. Also said it was the first lamb that either of them had eaten that wasn’t dry.

  9. I love lamb, but seriously, I just don’t like it smoked. I like it grilled hot and fast and medium/medium rare.

  10. I struggle with the “wet wool” flavor – maybe I’ve just never had good lamb, and the flavor concern has led me to not order lamb at places where it might be good

That said, your pictures look delicious!

  11. We raise our own and it makes up about a third of our protein intake. I love it!

  12. Lamb and Duck are the 2 most underrated things you can smoke.

Not so fun fact: My grandfather flew in bombers in WWII (we’re not sure which one – could have been B-17, B-24, or something else), and his plane was shot down over Germany. He survived, and was a POW for the remainder of the war (got a purple heart for that which I guess is neat).

When he was released and came back home, he told his wife (my grandma) “for as long as we’re married, don’t you EVER make me lamb for a meal” (or something to that extent). Apparently in the POW camps, all they EVER gave for meals was lamb meat.

That being said, I freaking love lamb.
