My favourite ice cream of last summer. Salted liquorice from The Little Ice Cream Shop in windermere, cost about £5 and was worth every penny

I love it when you get an amazing ice-cream. This reminded me of getting a mandarin cheesecake flavour ice-cream in Brecon decades ago. I still think about it every so often. Best ice-cream ever.

If anyone is in or around Manchester I can’t recommend enough ginger’s comfort emporium in afflecks. Best ice cream I’ve had anywhere in the world.

Lakes ice cream is so good. I make a pilgrimage to Keswick at least twice a year for the salted liquorice, you are right it’s very good. In fact all of their flavours I have tried are amazing. One of the highlights of Cumbria for me.
