Saw this at Whole Foods and had to get one!! It was fully thawed, beginning to melt by the time I got home, but the texture was perfect. Creamy, yet almost light and fluffy. Also, take a moment to appreciate the beautiful swirl.
The matcha tasted high quality, similar to soft serve I’ve had from Matcha Cafe Maiko, and the strawberry flavor was light and natural. I really appreciate Van Leeuwen’s commitment to natural flavors, it makes a huge difference and speaks to their quality. It’s not too sweet, but very balanced, which is perfect in my opinion. Solid 10/10 for me!!

That’s one of their flavors that looks interesting to me. I tried Earl Grey Tea and realized that I really don’t care for earl grey tea or bergamot (the underlying citrus flavor of Earl Grey). But I love green tea and I love strawberries (try strawberry mochis if you haven’t), so I’m going to add this to my flavors to try list.
