There were four to five sprats contained in this tin. The fish possessed a medium texture and more swimming in a lot of hot sauce. The sauce was both very vinegary and surprisingly hot. This is not my favorite flavor profile but these are serviceable on buttered toast.
They are a product of Poland.
Ingredients: Sardines (Sprattus Sprattus OR Clupea Harengus), Water, Vinegar, and less than 2% OF Maltodexdrin, Modified Food Starch, Paprika, Salt, Spice, Extractives, Xanthan Gum, Guar Gum, Caramal Color

I’ve had these 3 times. 2 times I thought were really quite good and would have been satisfied if I paid 4x for them. But the last time they were inedible. $1 sardines just seem inconsistent to me.

I literally just had these with crackers for dinner. They’re solid, but also mildly inconsistent, my first tin was packed with fat sprats but this one was a little skint. Unbeatable for the price, too.
