was weed whacking my yard and smelled something familiar. Pulled what i thought was just another type of grass up, low and behold they where onions! Looked around and neighbors yard is mostly wild onions. Other neighbors have just a sprinkle of wild onions

My yard is covered in them and wildflowers, it smells so good when I cut the grass (entirely onion, wildflowers don’t throw smell in comparison, they are just an honorary mention bc I love them)

These are great I used to grow the heck out of them next to the sidewalk near a place I rented and it keeps bugs away it’s a natural bug repellent so maybe they have less flies and insects at their house on the porch total benefit in addition to the tasty young growths that you can cut down and cook with
