Also recommend their cocktails which were super good. They’re expensive but the ingredients are super unique and makes it worth it imo. The service was also impeccable. Easily my top 3 Thai spots now.

Looks great any other places with tff with less vibes and less $$?
the goat curry with roti is prettt next level as well
Chalong was awesome. We just stumbled across it & loved the Baerng Gorlae.
Going Karee (scrambled egg curry) was awesome too!
Eclectic drinks.
It’s funny I am in Hell’s Kitchen all the time and must have not even noticed this place. Goes to top of list to try. Food looks great.
What type of fish?
Wait until you try their soft shell crab curry.
Chalong was so good. The roti is so hard to find and one of the best I’ve ever had.
One of my favorite local spots!
I am an absolute sucker for eating an entire fried fish – if you liked Chalong’s, you should also check out
Wondee Siam – they have a Panang fried fish with pineapple chunks that’s to die for, and a garlic basil one that is covered in at least 2 heads of fried garlic
LumLum – the fried fish with ChuChee curry is a flavor bomb
How does it compare to Sala Thai on the UWS (for those that have been to both)?
I love this place
Is that pork belly? That looks incredible
that mango sticky rice coconut sauce is crazy opaque
The menu changed since I went but the raw scallop salad and the hor mok pla blew me away, need to go back for more
I love chalong. Very fresh ingredients. Unapologetically spicy, I asked for less spicy they were like no lmao. IMO portions are perfect not too big. One time there was loud constructions outside and they were kind enough to let my dog in knowing the nyc regulations I’m extra thankful for that
Favorite spot, staff is so great there. GOAT curry is epic
