Here’s the recipe:

First time making it. Everything’s in the slow cooker/instant pot. My issue is the recipe only has 1/4 cup of broth! It hardly fills the bottom of the 6qt pot so I’m not sure this thing is going to work/cook

Maybe I missed something….either way I need help! Should I keep it as is or add more broth? If so how much? Dinner is on the line so I appreciate the help

The thighs will release a lot of broth while they cook so you will have sauce. It will be delicious. Enjoy!

No worries. One of the benefits of a slow cooker is that it retains most of the moisture, assuming you keep the lid on. Unless you really have a good reason to take the lid off, try to leave it alone. I don’t even take the lid off to stir unless the recipe directly says to do so.

I’ve made things in my Crockpot without adding any fluid, and they’ve turned out just fine. Some things, like chicken, release their own juices while cooking. I’m sure dinner will be good.
