I made this Sticky tofu meatballs in sweet and spicy sauce. I’m super happy of how they came out.
These little flavor bombs are made with:- 1 block extra firm tofu (pressed)- 1.5 cups breadcrumbs- 2 shallots- 5 garlic cloves- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast- A lil drizzle of soy sauce for depth
A sticky-sweet-spicy glaze made with:- Soy sauce- ABC sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)- Chabe sambal (for that heat 🌶️)- Cornstarch slurry to make it shine ✨
Serve with rice, noodles, lettuce cups, or honestly—eat them straight off the tray. They’re that good.
