I’m worried they aren’t going to get enough sun but I just don’t have the space to keep them under the grow light into maturity. I’m going to transplant a lot into 3-5 gallon bags at my dads house that gets full sun but I wanted to keep 5 or so on my balcony but it doesn’t get much if any direct sunlight

Thats fantastic you have the option to grow some in full sun elsewhere! I am patio balcony growing, south and west facing. I get terrible sun. I’m second floor, its fully covered, and theres huge shade trees all around. I mean its working, but its sad. And I’ll never get size or yields of other beauties I see posted. BUT. it does work. Luckily, its just me and my kid, so its not like we need a ton.
Havent moved my peppers outside just yet. but I have a few tomato plants out there already that have fruited, along with figs and strawberries.
You could move your north facing balcony to the southern hemisphere?
Seriously though I used to grow peppers in Washington state. In the shade of a mountain and surrounded by trees. It still worked just fine.

I grow in a north east facing garden, with a huge amount of shade, so I understand your pain!
I’m in the UK, so also a bit chilly which doesn’t help.
I find the variety makes a huge impact on success. Some varieties just won’t be able to fruit with the low level of light they get.
I’ve had the most luck with:
Lombardi
Jalapeno
Bishops crown (biggest chilli plants I’ve ever managed to grow)
Cherry bomb
