Even 2/3 of a smoothie with half turbinado and not eating all my quesadilla is 717 calories!!! Even a healthy-ish place is so many calories and I didn’t realize. It’s so much easier staying within my calories when I make my lunch

Literally everywhereeeee no matter how many modifications 😭 it’s miserable
Isn’t it crazy!? And at some restaurants their salads will be almost as much as a burger and fries. You have to be so cautious when ordering out
Seriously tho. I started skipping breakfast and eating lunch at home. Made all the difference.
I truly believe that America is not for short people. If I’m eating out it’s almost a guarantee I will be over my maintenance for the day. My 6’1” bf has no problem though.
Yeah being able to visualize what I was eating was life changing
literally just ate beef and rice and it was 800 cals at bonchon why though
Yeah same. Even the “diet” menus, like at chillis, are still too many calories for me. I just don’t even bother anymore. 😭
Yep it happened to me yesterday. I ordered an appetizer and had 1/2 a dessert and I ended up eating double the calories I normally eat.
Small chili from Wendy’s is 270 calories (though I do find it a little suspect), plus however much are in the 4 saltine crackers they give you. Ask for a packet of hot sauce, lots of protein, perfect lunchtime meal.
here’s an old thread from this sub praising the wendy’s chili lunch

Yeah at tropical smoothie I only get a smoothie for lunch, add protein and no added sugar
I’ve been wondering why smoothies from cafes and smoothie shops have so many calories, I drink a smoothie everyday and mines no more than 400cal and I get 2 glasses worth
which app is that?
