The top is super well marbled for American wagyu

Mediocre_Royal6719
In my mind the top one is simply not for me. More for someone else

Bottom cut looks like flank steak. If it unfolds someone lied to you.
ron_defeated

Dr_Dewittkwic
The top one kinda looks like muscular steatosis. 🤷♂️
MidStateMoon

Top. Render that perfectly and youve got *chefs kiss* meat.
Particular_Spirit_75
Top…..passing the bottom one off as wagyu is criminal.
Old_Ben24
Oh for tacos the bottom one but in general, the shockingly well marbled top one.
badskinjob
Plenty of striation in the bottom one and less fat… I’d go with the bottom one for the higher meat ratio. If you’re doing tacos it’s gonna be a slower cook anyway.

Why can’t I zoom in like before…. Is it because I use the shitty default app? WTF!!!
Anyway. Top for eating as is. Bottom to marinate and make tacos.
wildgeko
That bottom pkt looks like a bruise .
HarrisLam
The bottom looks overpriced. How the F are they the same unit price?
That looks like $60 vs $28 to me.
dentrecords
Both is the correct answer.
GarbageAcceptable344
Super bougie taco meat.
Gocats86
I’ve still never seen wagyu at my Costco.
FarAnywhere5596
I did wagyu brisket this weekend, not a fan.
TaygaStyle
Top is the obvious answer to me.

Wagu is such a scam term. Seems to be no standard for it in the US. Top looks like wagu, bottom not so much.
gnmatx
Top.

For Tacos: Bottom
For Quality: Top
For Real: Both
Hard4NoReason
Top looks like steatosis. Bottom looks healthy. Fat does not always mean marbled. The fat from steatosis is gristly. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
