They look like garbage. But I guess it works if you’re making an egg sandwich.

Yeah the eggy plate sitting at room temp all service is patient 0

I’d like a version where a chicken sits on top. Cut out all the middle men

  4. SnooOnions3369

I mean it takes like 2 minutes to cook an over hard egg like that where you break the yoke

  5. CranberrySchnapps

This is deeply upsetting and I’m not sure why.

All you fellow pirates shittalkin, but I’ve seen some of you, your apron, and your workplaces… I much rather have eggs fried by this machine than a hungover donkey who’s so lost in the sauce that heshe has grease underneath his two week uncut nails in a krusty krab where you can’t tell if the stainless steel is starting to rust or just a buildup of years of uncleaned sauces.

Also, japanese/asian (the post is actually chinese) kitchens are a fraction of the one’s in Europe/US. People manage to cook out of closets because of these machines.

Thank you for reading my thesis.  -A hungover donkey

But what about seasoning? Those are some bland eggs.

I would hate to see what the inside of this looks like nor be involved in the cleaning

The language of song is sung in Chinese/mandarin, the words on the machine is Chinese words. Are you sure this is Japan innovation?

There’s a cut every time another one comes out, so I wonder how long it really takes per egg.

  11. Hmm, one of these must be a breakfast maker. -Homer

A machine that consistently produces overcooked eggs.

  13. I really want the Auto cooking tempura machine that I have seen some Japanese restaurants having. All you got to do is put in the battered object and it cooks, drains and collects the finished product.

Wow a robot that makes crappy leathery, dry eggs. What will they think of next?

  15. foxontherox

This looks like one of the inventions by the dad in “Gremlins,” but it actually works (kinda).

  16. Sufficient_Brain_928

Wow.. Japan is really good at making eggs inedible.

  17. smooth_bore

Sees unfamiliar Asian script with unfamiliar Asian language music playing. Must be Japanese.

Give that machine a chef’s hat with a single pleat

There’s a [Boston based company making something similar.](https://www.bridgeappliances.com/) Yes it’s much faster to crack an egg and cook it yourself on a stove but the use-case for a machine like this is businesses that don’t have a full kitchen or trained cookstaff but still want to offer breakfast sandwiches.

The cafe near me is their field test cafe and it’s been great that they can now offer egg sandwiches.

I assume this is for a thing where they want individual fried eggs with a crispy edge so no crowding in a pan…. But imho a griddle would do this job as well or better. Didn’t the Japanese invent the teppan?
