[X-Post] does this mean you can’t drink a beer while you smoke? Isn’t that the most important step in the process?

I’ve seen some stupid shit on the internet but destroying your vehicle so you can try and smoke food inside the body of it absolutely is the stupidest fucking thing I’ve ever seen.

Thankfully they used that cheesy 14 gauge extension cord though I was worried about safety for a minute

This is like one of Red Green’s Handyman Corner projects.

proof that given too much free time idiots will continue to idiot until the end of time.

It’s a pickup. Just secure a smoker to the bed. Take 1/3 the time.

Next to the gas tank, why didn’t I think of that?

Friends do not let friends, make truck smokers without Milwaukee tools.

Personally, I could never skip steps 3 and 4 in my 5 step brisket making process

cracktivities at play good sir, stuff that makes vehicles move go boom, fucking heat source right beside the petrol tank fml. One good way for population control.

  10. He has a truck, why not just put an actual smoker in the bed of the truck?

Not cool…… especially after the brats are almost ready….. but the wood chips not even hot yet…

  12. Ah yes, perfectly placed right over the trucks exhaust pipe, to get that carbon monoxide burnt gasoline flavor we all love…

Imagine you go up and down a back road with a lot of mud. Oof

  14. Legio-V-Alaudae

This makes so much more sense than putting a kettle in the back of that truck.

    Methgyver strikes again!

Drinking and driving is not the most unsafe thing here

  17. Lighting a fire inside your car. What could go wrong.

  18. DrInsomnia

Given the market for used trucks I cannot imagine putting in all the effort of building a smoker but not doing it with the actual materials for a smoker which would be more cost-effective than ruining a truck

The ryobi tools make me want to just keep scrolling through Reddit.

Exactly the type of engineering I expect from someone who uses a grinder backwards.

  21. My big question: is any of that metal actually safe to cook on/in? I know, silly question to ask in this situation, but it would be the cherry on top.
