Depends what kind of matcha you get. If you get a matcha with water it shouldn’t have a noticeable amount of calories, if you get a matcha latte (which is more common and likely what you bought) then depending on the kind of milk you got that jumps up to like 190 cals. I usually make mine with unsweetened almond milk so it’s like 40 calories. And I like to add a tablespoon of honey so like + 60 cals and some ice ! If you use whole milk and lavender syrup or whatever it’s a lot more cals than it should be tbh

Dry scoop 40g of collagen, down it with some water, and spam egg whites. Remember, missing one day of hitting your goal won’t hinder your body as bad as you’d think !

It’s a learning process so try not to be too hard on yourself. You mentioned ordering things that seemed “healthier” (matcha and an avocado toast), which might be true, but these are also both highly calorie dense choices (especially avocado toast, although I personally stay away from drinking calories through flavored drinks/coffees/mochas etc. in general, as they can very quickly become a calorie bomb). There are many cases of foods that would be considered “healthy” (I.e. more nutrient dense, less processed), that do NOT automatically = a good food/meal choice for weight loss, especially with a daily budget of something less than 1500 like what you’re running. The more you learn about caloric density of different foods in addition to their nutritional value will probably be super helpful to you for future choices, but this one day isn’t going to make or break you and I hope you can be patient with yourself.
Someone else commented to have a protein shake for dinner today which you definitely have the calorie budget for and actually isn’t a bad idea at all. There’s a lot of good options but the fairlife protein shakes taste amazing. If you can find their core power elite shakes, they’re 230 calories with 42g protein which would fit right in with your remaining calories and give you a nice boost in protein intake, would highly recommend. Good luck 🙂
