I don't know who needs to hear this but Smart Sweets is actually really good now! I tried them a few years ago and the flavors were terrible and the consistency was super gluey – they would just get stuck in your teeth more than anything.
So I never bought them again.
But the other day I saw " new & improved" on the packaging and decided to give it a try …. I could cry … Tastes almost exactly like the original candy and only 130 calories & 3 grams of sugar 🥲
So if like me you thought they were gross from back in the day it may be worth another try!

I actually really dislike the “new and improved” reformulation. These used to be my favorites and the ingredient change made me stop buying them cold-turkey. I’m sad!
They’re still rather gluey, I find. The sour blast buddies actually pulled off one of my crowns.
The joyride candy is pretty darn good
They are also sold at Costco for much cheaper than other stores. I still don’t buy them because they are still too expensive for me, but for those who can afford it might as well save some money.
Here in Canada they are 6 bags for $13.99, sometimes going on sale for $10.99
By comparison Walmart is $4.50/bag
i don’t like the “new and improved” version of the swedish fish. i was disappointed with the texture
