I’ve done veggies before, mostly helping my parents and some very halfhearted attempts at the apartment I lived in. But we got our house a little over a year ago ago and got this setup this spring!

Bush green beans, black eyed peas, two varieties of tomatoes, bell peppers, carrots, pok choy, and some native flowers to the side. Ive also got onions, lettuce and chard in pots. Unfortunate my garlic in pots all died.

Definitely gonna do some things different next year but can’t believe how things have taken off! I’m gonna try to keep a rotation going throughout the year if I can cycling the beans, starting mini pumpkins mid summer, and chard/radish/cabbage/whatever during winter

  1. Beautiful garden!

Curious about the bee trap. Is it beneficial to the garden or just to keep them away? Not sure how they work but have been curious on adding one to the back yard.

Just not sure if it messes with the good bees too or only the carpenter bees.
