I was noticing that in my local grocery store they now only carry one green hot sauce, Tabasco. Last year many more. I guess Texas Pete dropped their green hot sauce, not seen it in a while.
I like this Tabasco plenty, just wondering is green hot pepper sauce going out of style?

Love it! It’s more like a dip for me since it’s not that hot but I go through a whole bottle in just a few days
Nice flavour
This one has been around for a long time. It’s a favorite of mine for things like pizza and scrambled eggs. Not super spicy but really good.
the only tabasco product i like
I like it a lot. I used to buy louisiana gem green jalepeno sauce and it was almost an exact clone of Tabasco green. They stopped making it years ago.
Apparently there are replacements, but I’m not really seeing them, and green tabasco is expensive for me.
I second the pizza and eggs suggestions, but will add another, mac and cheese. It’s hideous to behold, but delicious.
Yeah it’s good for some things. I just wish it was way spicier.
Crucial ingredient for wifey’s best ever guacamole. Tried the other ones, but this one works best with the other ingredients.
Could use more heat but yes it’s delicious. I don’t buy it because I prefer others but I’m always eyeing it at the store lol
Its perfect on some things. Not hot but really good on Chipotle steak bowl with guac
Typically I enjoy the green hot sauces more than their red counterparts like this and green cholula
Yes. Though at one point I had 8 different sauces
Wish it had more heat, but LOVE the flavor.
I wish it had a texture similar to regular Tabasco. It’s weirdly gummy and thick and I can taste the corn starch in it which I don’t like.
If they’d omit the corn starch and xanthan gum I think it would be better.
That green Tabasco has been around for a very long time. Doubt it is going anywhere at least. I really like the flavor of it but haven’t figured out what I can add it to except sometimes using it as wing sauce for tasty, non-spicy, chix wangs.
I enjoy it – especially at Chipotle.
It’s so good on popcorn
I pick up a bottle occasionally. Great on eggs.
It’s tasty, but not really spicy
Yup it’s a regular at breakfast here and it’s also good in guac.
tacos
Was my favorite for eggs until my recent discovery of Melinda’s green sauce. They’re both great. Melinda’s is just better.
Tasty but basically no spice. There does exist better and spicier “green sauces” but I would have Tabasco rather than no sauce.
I love it so much. Not a huge fan of very spice sauces, and I love green sauces. Now I prefer Cholula’s Green, but the Tabasco isn’t bad.
I used to mix that with ranch back when I used to work at fatburger. No spice, but do like the taste.
