Guys, welcome back to Dimmitra’s Dishes. So, today I’m going to teach you how to make la lemon and it’s basically a dressing, but it can double as it can go on top of salads. You can um marin it can be a marinade. It’s just so delicious. You can get creative and put it on top of anything you want and it’ll be a huge success. So, I’ve already juiced um the lemons. So, I’m going to put my garlic in here. About a half a cup of olive oil. A little bit of salt, some freshly ground black pepper, and the mother of all Greek spices and I should say Greek herbs, oregano. Basically, you just whisk it all up and then you’re done. It seriously does not get simpler than that. If you come home and you’re tired from work or you’re having guests over and you don’t know what to do, you can make two batches of this. Use one batch for the salad or to dress to put on top of any roasted vegetables and the other batch marinade some chicken in it.

  1. I was recently diagnosed with fatty liver and it's been devastating for me. I've been a home cook since I was a child, never eat out, but somehow American processed foods got me over the years. This dressing is my newest obsession massaged into kale. I know it's not Greek, but I will add some stone ground mustard, too. Tonight I added a spoonful of non-fat greek yogurt to it for a healthy, somewhat creamy option. I've been eating a giant bowl of kale with this for the last two weeks and have been doing mostly Mediterranean diet. I'm Italian and have always loved pasta and Greek food more than anything, but no more pasta or bread for me now! My best friend was 100% Greek so I've made so many traditional recipes, but not the healthy ones! Just subbed and can't wait to try new and healthy recipes 🙂

  2. Oh look how young you are here. This is one of my favourite dressings, thank you for sharing an earlier video of one of the best dressings
