welcome to the world of Arab Cuisine the kind of recipes that just take you back home today I have the number one dessert that only makes an appearance during Ramadan atth this obviously isn’t my kitchen today I’m with my parents because I’m not qualified to make this recipe atala is a traditional dessert to have during Ramadan and of all the ataya I’ve ever had these are the best they’re basically deep fried pancakes filled with either a sweet cheese or a walnut and sugar mix and then DST in utter which is the 11 style simple syrup you got to eat them hot and fresh that’s the best way to do it start by shredding walnuts and cheese and mix the walnuts with sugar and cinnamon then boil sugar water and lemon juice for 10 minutes and add rose water and orange blossom water for the dough blend flour semolina powdered milk baking powder sugar and water then cook the batter on a griddle till the bottom is nicely brown stuff each with the two fillings and deep fry until golden brown roll in cold syrup then plate and garnish with crushed pistachios and enjoy [Music]

  1. Ayo i love empanadas. We dont necessarily make them the same but its so wild to see that they look so close to my own favorite choldhood meal. Bust out some homemade salsa and boom you got dinner with the family!

  2. if this is anything like empanadas yall should make some chimichurri sauce.. it’s a plant based sauce that is nice and tart, yet spicy
