Anyone have an issue with the JoeTisserrie not spinning?
These rascals just fit, but didn't spin. I took the spinner into the house to verify if the outlet or extension cord was the problem. Nope.
Got this as a gift 2.5 years ago for Christmas. Anyone else have an issue with the motor?

Can it be that meat is too heavy?

Does it spin without the spit rod in? You can see the square move on the motor

Yes. It doesn’t do well with heavy loads or anything unbalanced

I think it’s rated for up to 50lbs if I’m remember correctly. But if it isn’t balanced, it will only swing back and forth with the heavy part at the bottom.
