1. Crisp the Tofu – Tear tofu into chunks. Toss in cornflour, salt, pepper & five spice. Deep-fry in hot oil until golden and crispy. Drain on kitchen paper. 1. Sizzle the Aromatics – Fry spring onion whites & garlic in a wok with a little oil for 1 min. Add tofu and toss. 1. Glaze & Finish – Stir together maple syrup & sweet chili. Pour over tofu and toss till glossy. Sprinkle over the spice mix. Serve hot with a garnish of sesame seeds & spring onion greens.

Why do you need an air fryer if you are just going to fry them after?
