i remember one of the first years i got to have a tiny plot to garden, i planted san Marzano tomatoes. and got like half a dozen tomatoes. just enough to make a small pot of sauce.
made like 6 ravioli. enough for each person to have 2 plump fresh made ravioli. and a few spoonfuls of fresh from the garden tomato sauce with my fresh basil.
was one of the best meals i ever ate/shared with loved ones… and was all on like 6 little oval tomatoes.
