I was looking forward to this tin all week. Me and my dad decided to add the fish to a Japanese style porridge. The fish had great texture and didn’t crumble while taking it out of the tin. But it came apart very nicely while only using little force from the chopsticks. The taste was actually very mild and not fishy at all. It had an almost sweet flavor which paired very nicely with the other ingredients that we added to the porridge. The rapeseed oil that is being used here was almost tasteless and i mean this in a very positive way. It let the fish be the star of the tin. They source the oil from a manufacturer that has been around since 1926. The only thing that might be a negative is that it says that there should be a lemon flavor. I didn’t get any lemon flavor at all. But then again because the fish was that good i actually am glad that there was no heavy lemon flavor. The tin was almost 10 euros which is on the more pricier side but i will gladly pay that again for this kind of quality.
