i don’t know how you can name a sub after a book by Anthony Bourdain and *not* allow the kinds of tough conversations he was always willing to have.

It’s true that the money opposes ordinary wage growth and has endorsed actions in oppositions of the same.

While tempted to share organization links etc, I’m not sure of the best path for many in the sector.

I only really care about what makes people’s lives better, and whether I have a good faith belief about a recommendation. I’m not sure I do right now other than generally, the many are more powerful than the few.

  4. If you seriously think there’s no correlation between cheap under the table wages for illegal workers and the suppression of wages then you are absolutely out to lunch.

It’s not just billionaires standing in the way, it’s also every run of the mill boomer boss who will do anything they can to pay the lowest wages possible which prevents wages from increasing.

There’s plenty of reasons to oppose ICE rounding people up, you don’t need to lie and spread disinformation about wage suppression.

People still haven’t realized billionaires lobby to keep illegals here to stifle wage growth do they?

Conveniently “forgetting” the world illegal, there.
