Restaurants are getting so outlandish with plating these days, I wouldn’t be surprised if my next meal showed up on a vinyl record spinning under mood lighting.

Ahh a porous clay pot, just what we want to put food in.

The point of flower pot bread is to bake the bread in the pot, not just serve it there.

We used to have a great place in Atlanta during the late 70s – 80s called ‘The Treehouse’ that baked a whole wheat bread in small plant pots like this, but then they pulled it out, sliced it in half then filled it with yummy sandwich stuff. My fav was a cheese mix with cashews and bean sprouts (very advanced for 1977)
siddily
I would’ve just immediately taken the bread out and set it on the plate, handing the pot back to the server lol
