Greetings fellow cheeseburger lovers!

A new batch of sourdough hamburger buns has landed. 100g each. Made with the following ingredients:

  • 900g of soft wheat flour
  • 100g of rye flour
  • 500ml of apple cider
  • 100ml of full fat milk
  • 100g of butter
  • 100g of sugar
  • 200g of sourdough starter, fed and ready to rock 'n' roll
  • 2 eggs
  • 20g of salt

It took about 24 hours to make the buns. The dough was kept overnight in the refrigerator. It was a cold day so it took a long time for the dough to rise.

Brushed with butter after baking.

All our sourdough products are based on the book "TARTINE" by the San Francisco based baker Chad Robertson.

Inside we have:

  • 1 beef quarterpounder, pan roasted
  • 2 slices of gouda cheese
  • 2 slices of pan roasted ham
  • lettuce
  • pickles, sliced lengthwise
  • mayonnaise and ketchup

Buns are soft and very delicious, smell really nice. The cheeseburger was top notch too.
