Found a spot that serves authentic carbonara at a great price of ~14.20 dollars after a discount.

Taste wise it was delicious and loved how they were so generous with the guanciale

The were also generous with the green pixie dust.

  2. For a sec I thought the whole table was sprinkled in what looks to be dried parsley

That aside it looks very legit

I’ll put up with the green parsley dust for a restaurant that can actually make real carbonara. The last place I went did the raw egg yolk on top thing (which was disgusting) and the time previous to that, I went to a place that used cream like they had too much in the fridge and needed to empty those containers as quickly as possible. I’m losing hope that any place around me knows how to make decent carbonara.

    Jealous!

    Carbonara is my favorite pasta.

Is the authentic carbonara in the room with us?

Besides the fact that it has green stuff, I don’t think that is guanciale. Looks good though
