1. toasted quinoa, scone and sausage 2. rice, eggs, onions 3. frozen pecans and swiss cheese (i was staying up late cutting cardboard for a last minute costume and hence nsfw)

im neurodivergent and i have a texture/sensory seeking thing with food so a lot of my meals are abominations just like these. my food's textures have to be really "far away" from eachother if that makes sense

The vape being part of the setup is so real

  4. nenequesadilla

Hope all is well friend, if you’re in Portland I’ll drop off a plate sometime.

  5. Ozwentdeaf

Lmao the plating being kinda good sets me off

As neurodivergent I get it, but have you tried charcuterie? Semi soft meats, soft cheese (especially if whipped cheese), hard crackers/nuts. No hate because I get it, just urging you to take what you know you like/can handle, and exploring food options that fit the criteria. Because while none of this is bad, there’s options out there that would be more cohesive and might give you a better experience. If you need help lemme know otherwise enjoy your far apart food my friend.

Two questions, are you allergic to spice and flavor? And are you aware this is disordered eating?

Next one should be yogurt with a side of popcorn

I’m cool with all of these but you can keep the onions

Nuts, cheese, vape, and a knife!
A lovely dinner to eat at night!

I can understand the texture issues. But this isn’t NEARLY enough food. Seems close to ED territory

  12. Having 2 types of onion in a 4 item meal is wild.

Hey- I’m a chef and i’d be happy to send over some meal ideas if you’re up for sharing your particular preferences/texture matches

There’s not nearly enough nutrition value or balance in these meals- I know you’re trying, but if this is all the fuel your body is getting + random hits of nicotine from the vape, you’re like, so far below how much better you could feel if you ate a bit better.

It sounds stupid but I worked at a luxury rehab as a private chef, with patients that had assorted mental/addiction issues, and when they first came in they’d have their comfort foods and typically not stray. By time they neared the end of their stay and i’d gotten them to eat salmon cobb salad, homemade poptarts, homemade soda- among other things- they were able to wake up in the morning with just one alarm, didn’t feel
sluggish, had a better time handling the difficult topics in the group therapy sessions, etc. It wasn’t just the food, sure, but gut health plays a huge part in our overall health.

All the best either way- there’s effort there & that counts for something, quinoa is a great grain, and the nuts are a fantastic protein option in place of meat- so I see you’ve got a clue & are trying❣️

I don’t think you’re supposed to eat quinoa like that but I could be wrong

  15. I have no problems with the food selections but I’d be worried about you losing too much weight. Are you getting enough calories?

  16. The rice and that 2 boil eggs was me when I’m on a rush mean but instead of 2 boiled eggs, I just had 10 of those

    OP might be a chicken.
