buyer beware of the blind box sake by Zgrills.
my experience is as follows:
i at least expected a grill with the base line grill features of there base model that they sell (450 series) which sells for $399.00? this promotion was to be an upgraded version with the promotion saying i would get a upgrade from $399.00 grill to be one valued at $699.00 – $999.00…..not what i got, what i got was a 600 series grill without the following features:
– small tiny 8lb pellet hopper- maybe 4 hour burn time?? their other grills have much larger hoppers so you can cook all night long, so now no over night brisket cooks for me!
- no meat temperature probs but their base models have them, not this 600 series. now i have to spend more money on an after market meat probs. So no upgrade here either!
-no pellet hopper clean out
no ash clean out
no manual pellet feeder option
So yes in the spirit of a model number it's an upgrade i guess? but certainly not in useful features and no way worth $699.00 let alone $999.00!
in my research these are mostly basic features of almost any grill being sold for $699.00-$999.00 range
just a buyer beware notice that i wish someone had posted before i made my mistake, so all i can say is go at your own risk!

They must be having internal issues. The 10(5?) for the price of one promotion was a bit sketchy to me too
Is it the size of it that you paid for then?
Who would throw $400 into a multi year commitment on a blind box?
P.T.Barnum was right about one born every minute.
Burn rate is about a pound an hour unless it’s winter. Not great, but better than 4 hrs
Which actual 600 model did you end up with? Did you contact zgrills to see what they say?
This company does more gimmicks for sales than any company I’ve ever seen. Big red flag for me.
Yeah that’s pretty scummy. Blind box for grills though? Screams sketchy.
