Gotta say, I am very impressed with the quality of the OE dome thermometer. For me it has always been within 20degrees which is perfect for me. Cooking at 225F today for some pork chops and by feeling the outside, it was definitely ready to go but dome temp said otherwise. It has been through 4 years of Michigan winters and 1 year down in Texas before having any issues.

Good excuse for me to pick up a new one! Any recommendations, or should I just recalibrate it and keep cooking?

    Recalibrate and keep.

    If you need an excuse to upgrade your rig, invest in a probe to measure grate temperature.
