Having read the posts and followed the drama, I see Cheffie as 100% right here.
It seems the other mods had a ‘plan’ to deal with all the ICE posts.
Note- the posts were being deleted. Being deleted meant *way, way more posts were happening.*
The mods that quit were concerned that all the ICE posts would lead to the sub being shut down. *but their solution was making it way worse.*
Cheffie /Mods stopped the deletions, then Cheffie spoke directly to the community and calmed it down. This lead to the Mass “Fuck Ice” posts stopping. Which solved the problem.
Wtf are they mad about? That his solution worked, but theirs sucked and fed the administration’s BS?
I struggle to see another thing to be mad at.

This one dude pulled his final no-call no-show (three strikes policy) and I stuck his knife in a 8qt cambro filled with water and put it in the freezer. He came in two days later to grab his shitty Cutco blade and he almost cried. I didn’t feel even a little bit bad about it…
