I wrote this review in hopes of sharing my gripes with Trader’s on their page, but the mods didn’t like my honesty
Ralph’s has always been great. I decided to give Trader Joe’s a try. I don’t go very often, but it seems every time I go the produce is BAD. I was so mad as I cut up the potatoes I bought, screaming in agony as blights were littered throughout the Toy Story….. Steak goes bad in a day, freezing it is inconsistent results, I will only be coming here for munchies. Trader Joe’s, it is time to end your produce and focus on different things. Your providers are scamming you. I am even more upset because the few times I have given you a shot, EVERY TIME YOU DROP THE BALL.

Who goes to TJs for produce? I go for their frozen and packaged goods and snacks. A lot of that stuff they have unique and delicious stuff and I only ever grab produce if I’m already there and need one ingredient for dinner.
This doesn’t belong here.
This is not what the sub is for oml
Most grocery store produce is not organic and is harvested well before ripeness which gives it the appearance of a longer shelf life. When you buy “delicate” produce like greens, zucchini, tomatoes, etc, you should intend to use them within a short time. For hard skin squashes, apples, most citrus, etc, I dont usually have a problem with them lasting.

I haven’t had problems, also some of them I use get really great local stuff in season. So it probably depends in the store. I do find I have to check the bagged stuff carefully for bruises, etc.
You’re not great at understanding what different subs are for are you?
