I received a large BGE 12 years ago as a father's day gift and have used it multiple times per week. My wife and I are now empty nesters, so 80% of the time I cook for one or two people. Elliott's Hardware near me had a Mini on clearance for 20% off so I picked it up. I've been looking at the MiniMax for a few months as a second Egg, but the Mini fits the bill perfectly. Comes up to temp in less than 10 minutes, uses almost no lump, and is more portable than the MiniMax.
So far, the biggest negative for the Mini is its lack of accessories. I'd like to get a cast iron grid for searing and a rEGGulator vent cap but have had no luck finding them.
Another negative is that when I search for posts on the Big Green Egg Mini, people on reddit comment as though they are talking about the MiniMax. They are NOT the same.
Are there any Mini fans out there?

I honestly did not know the Mini existed. I have a Large and a Mini Max which is a nice combo that works for me.
That is cute. Looks like you could store it inside the large one like a Russian doll when you’ve done!
