🇹🇷 Homemade Lahmacun (Turkish Pizza)

Step 1 – Blend the flavor base:

Toss everything below into a food processor until finely minced:
– 1 large onion
– 3 garlic cloves
– 3 red chili peppers
– 3 green chili peppers
– A generous handful of parsley
– 2 medium tomatoes

Step 2 – Mix it up:

Transfer the mixture into a large bowl and add:
– 400–500g ground beef
– 1 tbsp tomato paste
– 1 tbsp Turkish pepper paste
– 1 tsp salt
– 1 tsp cayenne pepper
– 1 tsp paprika
– 1 tsp black pepper
– ½ cup vegetable oil

Give it a good mix until everything’s well combined. Let it rest in the fridge for about 1 hour to let those flavors soak in 🌶️

Step 3 – Assemble & Bake:

Spread a thin layer of the meat mixture onto Turkish flatbread (❗don’t use tortilla—it won’t give you that authentic crisp texture).

Roast in a preheated oven at 230°C (450°F) for 5 minutes until golden and crispy!

Top it with fresh lemon juice, sliced onions, or herbs and enjoy the street food vibes right from your kitchen!
