Tonburi (leek & avocado): I usually don’t like avocado but this dish was a great start to the meal, light and refreshing. The flavors and textures went well together, however I do feel EMP shouldn’t be so hellbent on having a tonburi course.
Fried Butternut Squash (shiso & spinach): Another tasty dish. The squash was perfectly cooked with a nice slight sweetness, and the condiments on top were lovely. The broth that was served with it was delicious, though I think it could have been a bit thicker, and I think they could have done more than just spinach on the side, but overall a good dish.
Agedashi Tofu (Brussels sprouts & sesame): Another ingredient I usually don’t like that tasted great here. This was the best tofu I’ve bet had with a great consistency, and the flavors worked very well together, along with different textures.
Shitake Mushroom (rice & mint): This tasted like the best mushroom risotto I’ve ever had! The rice was done perfectly and the mushrooms had great flavor. The addition of a little mint went really well.
I was served a different preparations of rhubarb (jasmine & vanilla) dessert, which was great, and their sesame and chocolate pretzel was phenomenal, as always.
I don't think I have to say anything about the service… even after Guidara leaving it’s as good as ever, and the joint best on the planet for me! I’ve been to vegan EMP a few times now and I can confidently say it’s way better now than the first two vegan menus they put out. While I had a great time at EMP, I simple can’t say I’d give them 3*. While they’re vegan menu is great, it’s simply not as good as the vegetarian/vegan menus I’ve had to TFL/Per Se, The Inn at Little Washington, Arpège, etc. If you’re looking for amazing service, a fantastic wine service, and a delicious vegan meal, while not caring too much about value for money, EMP is definitely the place! All in all, if money isn’t too much of a concern, I’d give EMP a go at least once!

Really appreciate the review! Feels like this page doesn’t get many vegan/vegetarian reviews, so it’s very nice to not only have this review, but additional context for where it aligns among other vegetarian offerings.
Thanks for your review. FWIW – I thought both the food and service were poor for a three star restaurant, more appropriate for one star level.
Looks good. I enjoyed my dinner there in December but I agree it’s more of a 1 or 2 star than 3
There’s something about the plating and geometric compositions that eek me out when I consider how long each dish is up at the pass getting cold / sitting there waiting for the cooks to finish plating /and garnishing everything…
I’m surprised that this is almost identical to the bar menu I had in maybe February? Minus the dessert
Should be 1 Michelin Star. Nice ambiance, but charging such a high price for just vegetables and fruit felt diabolical.
