Someone posted a E-325 new in box on FB marketplace today. He says he can’t return it to the store. He is asking $600. Should I grab it for $500? I would make him open the box so I can inspect before handing over the cash

  1. Better ask the seller to put it together. I would not buy it without knowing all the parts are there. Don’t get scammed. Ask for a receipt from the place they purchased from in case you need to claim warranty. Weber asks for proof of purchase now. At least they did for me.

FB marketplace is so full of scammers. I’d definitely ask to inspect it.

Also just found out that the seller is a friend of one of my friends on FB who vouched for him.

Inspect and make sure its all there, and sure. if nothing else put it in storage. June 1 Weber announced price hikes. Sit on it for a year then YOU SELL and you’ll make money.

Curious what store wouldn’t take it back. I’ve seen folks return partially assembled grills with no box to Lowe’s. Maybe they kept it too long.
