  1. If you need seasoning for your steak or compound butter you are doing it wrong. I wish you idgiots would quit ruinign steaks and thinking you are a master chef. Salt is all you need. that is it.

  2. A teensy suggestion if you ever wanna try it: if you have the time, try making your own butter from heavy cream for the compound butter! Look for something with a really high fat content if you can (typically 40% or higher; otherwise, standard heavy cream is fine), and then just use a mixer to make it into butter. You also get buttermilk as a bonus and can use it for fried chicken or hotcakes, but it totally ups the compound butter game.
