Purchased from Rainbow Tomatoes Garden for $28 in June of 2023, which I think makes this the most expensive can of sardines I’ve had by a couple of dollars. It is a limited edition of 3,000 cans, though I don’t know exactly what that means in practice. It promises 18-22 sardines, and there were indeed exactly 22. These are perfect, folks. Beautifully packaged, with almost unmarred skin, and no scales. The texture is great- neither mushy nor overly firm, and they’re well seasoned. These are tied with Ramón Peña and La Brújula for the ceiling of small pilchards, in my opinion. For that reason I probably wouldn’t get these again, due to their higher price point, but I’m glad I tried them.

Those look so delicious.
Were they bourbon barrel aged?
These are amazing, I had been holding onto a tin for at least a year before eating it last month. One of the absolute best I’ve ever had.
Over a dollar per very small deen though. Nice presentation
