Granted, this is my first time trying any sauce from Cholula, so I don't know how "bad" the others are, but I just had this in home made burritos with minced meat (chicken), beans and vegetables and the acidity really tied everything together.

It only gets hate because it isn’t overly spicy and tastes a bit artificial. This sub generally only appreciates sauces that are all natural and obscenely hot.
Cholula in general for me is a very specific flavor that makes everything taste like generic Mexican. I don’t hate it, I just don’t get it because it’s too specific. I like the chipotle version more though because it’s more well rounded.
Their green is one of my favorite sauces tbh
This isn’t hot sauce, its table sauce.
I love regular Cholula as a table sauce but that Chipotle is just too mild for me.
