I bought this in France last summer and have been holding onto it for a special occasion. Had it with friends last night after we graduated. This was my first time having an older vintage and I was surprised at how palatable it was, I was expecting an aged wine like this to be heavier and stronger, but it was pleasantly on the lighter side (how I like it). I don’t know if this sounds weird, but the notes I was picking up were like pine wood and butter. Very pleasant
