when growing your cucumber plants in container guys it’s very important to do this pruning I have two cucumber plants right now and these guys gonna be running upward into my greenhouse on top but grown in a container you get to remember we don’t have a lot of soil we don’t have a lot of room so we want to make sure we get good airflow and we want to make sure we’re not growing all leaves so before removing any suckers get yourself a pruner guys and you could see do this when your plants is about 10 inches you have about 10 leaves just come right here and snap out three of the bottom leaves look see that we have one two and three by pruning that alone now the plant root from the root where all the energy come now we don’t have to supply the plant don’t have to supply three leaves it bypass that three leaves and come up in here now so the plant is going to use more energy to grow so this

Silly question. How do you know what a sucker is? I’m worried if cutting the wrong thing on my cukes & tomatoes
pruning the cotyledons is really not a good idea. google that word and ull get the answer why.
