Tea is made of grapefruit and chopped up ginger slurry with hot water poured over. In the foil is a smashed giant garlic clove that i will choke down like a pill made of fire. I will be eatinf some chicken after this as well but that's not shitty.

All the ingredients are there, just not the fun

  2. Just make some good old chicken soup, way more tasty, similarly healthy

Nahh I can’t eat anything when I’m sick. Soup and juice is the solution for me. Why brocolli though, what does it help with?

Like looking at the color orange gives you all the vitamin C you need. You don’t need to go out of your way to get it, just like eat some fresh food every now and again

  5. swgmstr69

Make sure there’s a small fat source included around when you eat to aid with nutrient absorbtion!

Reminder that raw vegetables often have less bioavailable vitamin content than if steamed.

  7. Adding crushed garlic, ginger, and oregano to any tea (a blend with echinacea is a good option) is also great for immune tea

Why do you think random raw fruits and vegetables will cure you? Lol

Either it’s a virus which has no cure, you just wait it out, or bacterial/fungal which require medication.

I promise you if you got your blood taken while sick your vitamin levels will be within range. The only change you’ll see is a higher WBC.

Your logic is ridiculous and exactly what I would do 😂

What is with people and “raw food” these past ten years?

looks like something a zoo keeper would give to the animals 🤣

Our sick foods are very different…this meal would probably hospitalize me. Except the drink, that’s safe.

GenZ: “Religion is stupid and anyone who follows it is a moron.”

Also GenZ: “Raw vegetables will cure my cold!”

It’s all “magical thinking”, except instead of a bearded man in the sky you’re giving broccoli and carrots magical qualities.

lol, I thought this looked like a good idea to give your body a fighting shot but seeing OP get dismantled in the comments is making me think maybe I have no idea

Although, from a scientific perspective, this meal will not influence your sickness by any measurable degree, it may aid a nice bowel movement.

  16. BaronVonBracht

Hey, same. Haven’t eaten for almost 4 days. Everything just comes back up. Even broth. Get well soon.

  17. I_might_be_weasel

I eat soup and crackers when I’m sick.

Raw veggies are harder to digest and may lead to an upset stomach if you’re sick. In the future, take the same ingredients and make a nice homemade chicken soup. Load that up with the garlic, ginger, lemon, etc. Keep the tea.

I wouldn’t advise raw veggies when you’re sick. Your body will have an easier time absorbing nutrients from cooked food. It’s actually why we cook food to begin with… not only does it make it safer to eat, but it generally makes food easier to digest so you can absorb more nutrients. Raw food will make your body work harder and exposes you to more microbes, which is not great when you’re ill. You want your body to do less work and get more rest as well as maximize nutrient intake.

    Feel better!

Eating like you from the 1920’s dust bowl.

This looks like the image on the front of a vitamin supplement that a 45 year old almond mom would swear cures cancer

  21. Oregonhastrees

Honey, garlic, chicken soup, and Alka-Seltzer. Raw healthy foods are great at preventing sickness but once you’re sick call in the cavalry.

  22. _fragments_

why is everyone hating on literal raw fruit and veggies? y’all are wild 😭

  23. GirthyPigeon

Imagine being part of a species that discovered fire and used it to better utilise the nutrients from our food, and people in the 20th and 21st centuries just go “Nup.”

  24. RealUserName_Offical

That “Ginger slurry” is a great way to get relief when you are feeling sick. I call it tea but I guess I’m just lying to myself.

  25. coolzville

here’s a bunch of BS I read on the internet… just cook the food you tart

  26. PawnWithoutPurpose

Cook your food. Raw does not equal healthy

  27. brandnewbanana

You’re going to be very fragrant after this meal. I’d carry a can of glade with you for when the gas starts.

  28. Hot_Winner634
