Let’s make my Middle Eastern crispy meat flatbreads. Bursting with bold and authentic flavors. Has a cheesy stuffed crust. I’m already salivating. Let’s get started. This dough is super easy to make. It’s made with simple ingredients and comes out super soft, chewy, and crispy from the outside. Now, let me tell you, being brought up with a family from the Middle East, I was fortunate to have this delicious dish served in my home regularly. Once you’re done with your dough, set it aside and move on to your meat mixture. Chop up tomatoes, peppers, parsley, and onion. Okay, moving on. Pour your veggies with your mint mixture and add your spices. Salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, tomato, and pepper paste and give it a good mix. Split your dough into six portions. Roll out into an oval shape. Fill your edges with cheese. Fold over. Pinch the ends. Transfer them into a baking sheet and fill them with meat. Brush a mixture of oil and water over the edges and place in the oven for 25 minutes. Let me tell you, most Middle Eastern countries have different variations of this meat flatbread, but this one Armenian girl prefers this particular recipe because it’s so good. It’s pure deliciousness.
