A little late to sharing these photos, but I wanted to share with you all the cake I baked for my 31st birthday.
What you see is a three layer cake of chocolate sponge and peanut butter frosting, a chocolate ganache and salted caramel drip, topped with chunks of mini Snickers. Needless to say, this is one of my all-time favourite cakes.
Happy baking!

WOW!
Holy shit that looks amazing! I would gluttony myself on that cake so bad!
That looks heavenly!
EDIT: For some reason Reddit won’t let me edit my post, but I forgot to mention one of the main layers of my cake: salted caramel coated peanuts!
Do you put the ganache on the cake when it’s hot? If so, does that cause problems with the frosting?
What are your tips for getting the perfect drip? Temperature of the cake and drip at time of application? I’ve attempted it once and the drip would not look right, it would be too thin, or not stick to the side of the cake, or run all the way to the bottom even though I chilled the buttercream and let the drip cool for around 30 mins. I’m thinking the temperatures still weren’t right, but I’m not finding good information on how to get the temps just right.
What a sinful cake this is 🤤 Great work with the drizzled chocolate and caramel sauce!
I’ll be whoever you want me to be for a bite of that 🤤
Want want want
