I’m considering both the Traeger Silverton 620 and the Traeger Ridgeline XL. Looking for some guidance.

I got the Silverton last year for $750 and it’s still in the box. Was waiting to see what deals popped up. The Ridgeline XL is only $50 more.

I’ve seen some hate for the Silverton. I’m not seeing much info at all for the Ridgeline XL.

I’m told the Silverton is more efficient with the pellets. I also prefer the aesthetics and storage cabinet.

The Ridgeline has a bigger surface area.

Anything else I should consider? Leaning towards the Silverton. Looking for feedback!

Depends on your main priorities. For myself capacity is always the number one priority. I do like the Silverton as far as looks go for sure and the cabinet could be handy at times. If you don’t foresee yourself needing the extra capacity then go with the prettier one haha. I haven’t looked into them as far as reviews go however they have a warranty either way.

You can most likely find the non bulk store version of the Ridgeline XL (780 pro) on sale right now at probably Ace hardware or something. The Silverton is an exclusive, so if you’re priority is shelving and not cook space then that would be good for you.
