    Looks like slime mold to me. “dog vomit”. Never seen this happen before though!

  3. well that’s alarming. might i suggest some copper fungicide? i always have some on hand for tomato blight prevention.

  4. It looks like slime mold to me too. Normally it’s not an issue, but it’s usually confined to the ground. In fact, it could be a good sign of healthy soil. I think it generally likes decomposing matter. However, I think it’s unusual for it to be on your living plant. It’s also odd for it to be on the CMU at the bottom of the picture.

    That, or a slime mold.
